Frank lives near Toronto, Canada. Originally from South Africa, he immigrated to Canada in 1989.
With a continued commitment to his photography practice and with a diverse range of interests, he is engaged in several projects simultaneously, all of which are spoken with his authentic voice. They are a reflection, and an expression, of who he is. All in all, his work is a visual autobiography.
Photographing his world, his own story, the people that he’s surrounded by, and the places he moves through, his projects are words, lines, and chapters in a personal story, and a metaphor alluding to what lies within.
By authoring his work, constructing images out of the given raw materials of reality, and with an emphasis on composition and the visual elements, he makes what is personal visible and universal.
