Photography & intaglio. With the convergence of light and ink, my exploration blurs the boundaries between photography and the tactile world of printmaking. The juxtaposition of crisp photographic details with the expressive qualities of printmaking fosters a dynamic tension within each composition. I endeavour to transcend the limitations of a single medium, inviting viewers into a realm where the captured image and the crafted print exist in contiguous and harmonious dialogue. The marriage of these mediums allows for nuances of texture, depth and mood. As the viewer engages with this body of work. I invite them to immerse themselves in the interplay of light and dark, where photography and printmaking coalesce. It's this synthesis that I hope will evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity, encouraging a deeper contemplation of the creative process, and the rich tapestry of visual storytelling.
